Mark is a native Californian and has been married to Julie for 41years. Active in the community, he serves as president of the Community Advisory Board for the California Conservation Corps and is an appeals board  member of the California Selective Service Board. Mark is a Vietnam veteran and a  member of the Alpine Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
